Book Two - The Cracked Reflection

The Black Market Car [2.1]

Glad-One: Remember, you can't spell "escape" without "companionship". Uh, companion-shape? Companion-scape.

The Family Tree Car [2.2]

Mirror Tulip "MT": [sighs] Look, it has nothing to do with you. It's just... [sighs] Okay. So I used to have this friend named Tulip, and we did everything together, but as we grew up, I didn't have much in common with her anymore, but, um, my parents thought Tulip was perfect and wanted me to be exactly like her, so I had to stop hanging out with her so I could be free.
Jesse: Why would you do that to your friend? That's... That's crazy.

The Map Car [2.3]

Mirror Tulip "MT": So, you just jumped right in back there. What was that about?
Jesse: I'm on the swim team. It's kind of what I do.
Mirror Tulip "MT": And they taught you to flail wildly with both arms?
Jesse: [chuckles] Excuse me! It's called the butterfly - which I happen to be qualified in for State.
Mirror Tulip "MT": [chuckles] You picked the biggest, stupidest-looking stroke to be your favorite?

The Toad Car [2.4]

Jesse: So you are a reflection? Who are you a reflection of?
Mirror Tulip "MT": Remember that friend I told you about... Tulip? I used to reflect her, but I wanted to live my own life, make my own memories, but that's against Mirror Law, and those Flecs have been chasing me ever since.
Jesse: So your name, MT, does it stand for Mirror Tulip?
Mirror Tulip "MT": It's not my name. I'm just letting you call me that.

The Parasite Car [2.5]

Jesse: Do reflections go to the bathroom?
Mirror Tulip "MT": Okay! [MT blushes] Question time's over.

The Lucky Cat Car [2.6]

[the disguised girl opens the door to let in four kids from the Apex to ransack the place]
The Cat: No! [jumps up to one of the prize stands] You little Apex brats!
Grace: Sorry for the disguise, but... [removes her disguise to reveal she is a girl] ...I didn't think you'd give me access to the door if you knew who I was.
The Cat: You horrid, little...
Grace: Wah-wah-wah!

The Mall Car [2.7]

Simon: Grace, did you find some more strays? [slides down a mall escalator and kneels in front of her]
Grace: My second in command, [Simon gets up] Simon. I trust him with my life. Even if he was wearing black socks and sandals when I first met him.
Simon: Ho-ho. Thanks for letting me keep my cool factor for 10 seconds there.

The Wasteland [2.8]

[as MT is swinging to get back up the train, Mace grabs her wrist]
Mirror Tulip "MT": What are you doing?!
Special Agent Mace: I'm as good as dead, and if my last act is to bring you with me, Sliver, I can't imagine a better way to go!
Mirror Tulip "MT": Well, I can!
[she headbutts Mace off of her, swings and kicks Mace to the train's wheels, killing him]

The Tape Car [2.9]

Glad-One: Fun fact! The Tape Car is the only car where the universe is projected on the outside.
Sad-One: It's what's outside that counts.

The Number Car [2.10]

Agent Sieve: There's no escape, Sliver!
Mirror Tulip "MT": Ugh, leave me alone! I won't go back!
Agent Sieve: I'm not taking you anywhere, I'm taking you out. You killed Mace. No more badges, no more protocol.
