The hryvnia is the currency of Ukraine. It was introduced from September 2-16, 1996.[1] The kopiyka is one hundredth of a hryvnia.

Circulation

Banknotes of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, and 500 hryvnias are in circulation.

Coins of 1, 2, 5, 10, 25, 50 kopiykas and 1 hryvnia are in circulation.
