1. (with einen and reflexive dative) to get drunk or tipsy, especially as a purposeful action

   Wenn ich hier Spaß haben soll, muss ich mir ganz schön einen antrinken.

   If I’m supposed to have fun in this place, I’ll have to get pretty drunk.

2. (transitive, with reflexive dative) to obtain some quality by getting drunk, for example courage
