Usage notes

  1. The consonant mutates from π°“β€Ž (d) to π±…β€Ž (t) after being appended to a verb that ends with the consonants l, r and n.
    β€Ž-π°‰π°†π°žβ€Ž (bol-, β€œto be”) + β€Žπ°“π°ƒ (dΒ²i) β†’ β€Žπ°‰π°†π°‘π°ƒβ€Ž (boltΓ―, β€œit happened”)
  2. Unlike most tenses, this tense can take personal suffixes.
