Etymology
From Polish zbroja (“armour”), likely either through a nonstandard dialect (with stressed o -> u shift) or from genitive plural "zbrój" of the Polish word. Compare the Babia Góra dialectal meaning of Polish zbroja (“horse harness”). Cognate with Lua error in Module:utilities at line 142: attempt to perform arithmetic on local 'h' (a nil value), Russian сбру́я (sbrúja). Doublet of збро́я (zbrója).
