Ελλάς (Ellás) is the former, Katharevousa, word for what in Standard Modern Greek is now called Lua error in Module:utilities at line 142: attempt to perform arithmetic on local 'h' (a nil value). Greece is formally referred to as the Ελληνική Δημοκρατία (Ellinikí Dimokratía, “Hellenic Republic”).
