Tutrakan
Tutrakan (Bulgarian: Тутракан, Romanian: Turtucaia, Turkish: Turtucai) is a city in the northeastern part of Bulgaria.
Understand
Tutrakan is known as a fishing port, but also for the battle that took place here between September 1 and 6, 1916, during the First World War, between the Romanian and the Bulgarian and German troops. The battle ended with the defeat of the Romanian troops defending the bridgehead.
