United Paramount Network

United Paramount Network under the name UPN was a American free-to-air television channel, launch January 16, 1995. The channel aired series such as Veronica Mars. The channel merged with The WB to form The CW. The channel will cease broadcasting after 11 years on the air, so it lets The WB enjoy The WB for two days before the merger.
