Sinn Féin

Sinn Féin (Irish: Ourselves) is a political party, who is active in Northern Ireland as well as the Republic of Ireland. Sinn Féin wants Northern Ireland to become a part of the Republic of Ireland. This is called Irish republicanism.

Sinn Féin is the main opponent of the Democratic Unionist Party (DUP), who is in favor of the British identity. Sinn Féin is a leftwing, progressive party, who also is in favor of social rights and the European Union.
