Pele was a famous Brazilian football player. His full name is Edson Arantes do Nascimento. He represented Brazil in the 1958, 1962, 1966 and 1970 World Cups.
He is the all-time top scorer for the Brazilian national team and the only three-time World Cup winner. He died on 29 December 2022.
National team career
Pele played his first international match on 7 July 1958 in Maracana, against Argentina. He became the youngest goal scorer in the international arena when he scored his first goal for Brazil at the age of 18 years and 9 months in the 2-1 defeat.
