Mississippi is a state in the southeastern United States. As of 2015, it had 2,992,333 people.[1]

Jackson is the state capital and most populous city.

Mississippi is bordered by Tennessee to the north, Alabama to the east, the Gulf of Mexico to the south, Louisiana to the southwest, and Arkansas to the northwest.

Mississippi currently does not have a flag.
