Icelandic (íslenska) is a Germanic language, spoken by 358,000 people. The language is the official language and largely spoken in Iceland. Icelandic is mostly related to the Faroese language and less to the Norwegian language. It is the Germanic language, who is the less intelligible with the continental Germanic languages (like English and German).
