Hollywood, California is a neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. It is famous for being the movie center of the world. It was a small community in 1870, and was incorporated as a municipality in 1903. It merged with the City of Los Angeles in 1910. The Hollywood movie industry started shortly afterward. Hollywood is one of the most famous communitites in the world.
