Faroese language
Faroese (føroyskt) is a Germanic language, spoken by 72,000. Faroese is the official language of the Faroe Islands, which are a part of Denmark. 49,000 of those speakers live on the Faroe Islands. The rest of the speakers live mainly in Denmark itself.
Faroese is the intelligible with the Icelandic language and less to the Norwegian language.
