Dying Slave

The Dying Slave is a marble sculpture by Michelangelo. It stands 2.28 metres (7' 6") tall, and is held at The Louvre, Paris.

It was sculpted between 1513 and 1515, and was intended to ornament the tomb of Pope Julius II, along with the Rebellious Slave.
