Charles Perrault was a French civil servant and writer. Among other works, he wrote eight fairy tales that are world-famous. These tales were published in 1697 as Stories and Tales of Times Past. This collection contains "Cinderella", "Little Red Riding Hood", "Puss in Boots", "Hop 'o My Thumb", "Sleeping Beauty", "Diamonds and Toads", "Bluebeard" and "Ricky with the Tuft".
